New short film with voiceover by Vanessa Redgrave

Working alongside Vanessa Redgrave, who recorded the voiceover, I produced a film for the Raisa Gorbachev Foundation that was screened at their fourth Annual Fundraising Gala. £1.5 million was raised to help Raisa Gorbachev Foundation and Marie Curie Cancer Care continue their vital work.

The Raisa Gorbachev Foundation was founded in memory of Raisa Gorbachev, the late wife of Mikhail Gorbachev. The charity provides free medical care and diagnosis for children in Russia who families could not possibly afford to pay. Last year the foundation formed an alliance with Marie Curie Cancer Care, the UK’s leading end of life care charity. Funds raised from the gala evening will benefit both charities and enable them to continue their vital work.

The event was held at Hampton Court and attended by President Mikhail Gorbachev, Sarah Brown, Boris Johnson, JK Rowling, Vanessa Redgrave, Dougray Scott, Peter Kay, Chrissie Hynde and David Walliams. Guests bid in live and silent auctions with lots that included a night at the movies with Hugh Grant to dinner with Mikhail Gorbachev to a lap dance with David Walliams.
